Fuel Surcharge

A Fuel Surcharge is a fee passed to consumers to offset exceptional or unusually high costs of fuel expenses incurred by the service provider.  In our case, the average monthly diesel price is weighed against our Fuel Surcharge threshold to determine the necessity of such a fee.  When the average monthly diesel price exceeds that threshold, we charge a flat monthly rate of $3.00 for the month(s) in which such a rate applies.
